Undergraduate Programs

  • Category A: $458.02 per credit; approximately $13,740.60 per year (15 credits per semester)

  • Category B: $218.28 per credit; approximately $6,548.40 per year

Master's Programs

  • Research Programs: $336.66 per credit; approximately $15,150.00 per year

  • Non-Research Programs: $239.75 per credit; approximately $10,788.75 per year

PhD Programs

  • All PhD Students: $509.08 per credit; approximately $22,908.60 per year

*Note: These amounts are deducted from the tuition fees.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the UdeM Exemption Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be international students (excluding French and French-speaking Belgian students)

  • Have received an offer of admission to a study program at UdeM

  • Not be enrolled in an independent study program or short undergraduate program (e.g., certificate, major, minor, short program, or preparatory year program)

  • Hold valid study authorizations (CAQ and study permit) for all sessions of their study program

  • Be continuously enrolled full-time (unless absence is approved) for their entire study program

  • Not benefit from another form of tuition fee exemption

  1. Apply for Admission: Submit your application to your chosen program at UdeM through the UdeM Admissions Portal.

  2. Wait for Admission Offer: After submitting your application, monitor your email for an offer of admission.

  3. Automatic Scholarship Evaluation: Once admitted, UdeM will automatically evaluate your eligibility for the Exemption Scholarship based on your academic records.

  4. Receive Scholarship Notification: If eligible, you will receive a notice of award detailing the scholarship amount.
