Exciting News for international students! The Rotary Peace Fellowship Program 2026-27 is now open to international participants. Annually, individuals with exceptional leadership qualities are selected for the Rotary scholarship. The Rotary Peace Fellowship Program shows that international students are dedicated leaders who can make a real difference and promote peace. The scholarship is a fully funded opportunity that covers all expenses and makes sure students learn effective methods and techniques, helping them become influential peace ambassadors and skilled professionals.


Host Country: Australia, England, USA, Japan, Sweden, Turkey and Uganda

No of Fellowships:  This year 130 applicants are selected under the Rotary Peace Scholarship 2026-2027 Program, 50 fellowships / scholarships for master’s degrees, and up to 80 for certificate / diploma studies at different premier universities.

Fellowship Offered: Financed by The Rotary Foundation

Duration of Rotary Fellowship Program: The Master's Degree fellowship takes about 15 to 24 months, and the Professional Development Certificate Program is for one year.

Eligibility Criteria for Selection of the Rotary Peace Fellowship Program


You need to fulfill the complete requirements of the Rotary Peace Fellowship program to qualify for this International Rotary Fellowship 2024. The main requirements are given below:

  1. Proficiency in English is required.
  2. Work experience is necessary.
  3. Applicants must demonstrate academic achievements and involvement in personal or community service.
  4. Those pursuing a master’s degree should have completed their bachelor’s degree.
  5. Master’s degree applicants need a minimum of three years of relevant experience from their most recent degree to the start of the fellowship program.
  6. Individuals currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs are not eligible.
  7. Certificate program applicants need the same qualifications but with five years of relevant experience.
  8. Certificate candidates must articulate their plan of action.
  9. People with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
  10. If someone participated in a certificate program or received a global grant scholarship, a three-year gap is required before applying for a master’s under this fellowship.
  11. Active Rotary members, Rotary Club employees, and those working with Rotary International or other Rotary groups are ineligible.

The last date to apply under the Rotary Peace Fellowship Program 2025-2026, is 15 May 2025.

  1. Submit your applications online to the Rotary Foundation.

  3. Ensure that the fellowship subcommittee endorses your application online by July 1st.
