Benefits of the Netherlands Government Scholarship in Europe 2025-26:
- A scholarship amount of € 5,000 will be given in the first year of studies
- Students can select the university they want to study in
- Applicants can choose the area of study according to their interest
- Students will get a chance to study at a prestigious Dutch University
Eligibility Criteria for Netherlands Government Scholarship 2026:
Applicants applying must:
- Applicant must no be from the EEA (European Economic Area)
- Apply and receive an admission offer from the respective Dutch University
- Fulfill all the requirements of the university you are applying in
- Not already have a degree from any education university in the Netherlands
- Apply for a full-time bachelors or Master’s degree
How to apply for the Netherlands Scholarship for International Students:
- You are eligible to apply for the NL Scholarship at a Dutch Higher Education Institution (DHEI) of your choice, provided you meet the selection criteria.
- All 32 partner Dutch universities are offering Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs in various departments.
- Each department has its own online application form.
- Participants must first select a university, then access and apply through the respective online application link of that university.

- A motivation letter to explain why you are applying for this scholarship
- Official copy of the latest transcript
- Financial statement to show why you deserve this scholarship
- Budget plan of how they will manage all finances
- Updated CV
- Reference letter
- Contact details of the reference provided (email address/ phone number)
- English language certificate
- Any other document that is mentioned on the official link of the respective university you have chosen to apply in
