If you’ve completed your previous education in English, you may not need IELTS! Many Dutch universities accept an English Medium of Instruction (MOI) certificate from your former institution as proof of language proficiency.
Here’s how it works:
- Request an official letter or certificate from your previous university confirming that your degree was taught entirely in English.
- Submit this document when applying - some schools may also require a supplementary English proficiency statement from your professors.
- Always check with your target university first, as policies vary. Some may accept your MOI certificate for both admission and scholarships!
