The TU Delft University welcomes high-achieving African students from all over the world. Delft University Sub Saharan Scholarship program, awards academic excellence rewards, to selected international students to recognize their achievements who want to pursue their undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. Degree programs

Benefits of TU Delft Sub-Saharan Africa Excellence Scholarships

TU Delft Sub-Saharan Africa Excellence Scholarship, the award gives a grant of €25.000 per year to Sub-Saharan students, which includes, Full tuition fees cost, living allowance, being a member of Scholarship Club giving access to personal development, workshops, and seminars, to be a TU Delft ambassador for Africa, and Master’s thesis topic related to the Sustainable Development Goals!

Application Procedure

All applicants should submit their application for admission by themselves. We advise against the use of external agencies that offer this service.  

All required documents must be uploaded to osiaan.tudelft.nl and your complete application must be submitted by the Application dateline

  • You will receive an admission decision within 12 weeks following receipt of your complete application.
  • Applicants applying for the following MSc programmes will enter a selection procedure and receive an admission decision end of March.
    • Aerospace Engineering 
    • Applied Mathematics
    • Architecture, Urbanism and Building Sciences 
    • Computer Science
    • Computer & Embedded Systems Engineering
    • Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Technology
    • Design for Interaction
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Integrated Product Design
    • Management of Technology
    • Strategic Product Design 
  • For all other programmes, an admission capacity applies. If you meet our admission requirements, you will be considered until the admission capacity is met.
    • For the following MSc programmes you can no longer apply as the admission capacity was met:
      • Robotics
      • Mechanical Engineering
